I understand how complicated and time consuming doing these photos are. It's amazing that people just assume that you can click and drag a 3D object into a photo and everything just "lines up". There are perspectives to consider, light sources and shadows just to name a few of the things to consider when compositing. The ability to do all of this and create a photo realistic image takes years of practice, and is it's own degree in many colleges.
I am also blown away that people are asking how to do this, and for advice as to how to do it on their own. There are forums for that all over the internet. Don't ask a business owner to tell you how to do exactly what they have spent years developing the skills to do. Would you ask a dentist how to fill your own cavity? I think it is rude to ask someone their trade secrets in an open forum like this.
Anyways, great work on this website. Photos look great! Kepp up the good work!

Your service is awesome! Recently, I have considered graphic design and web development as possible education avenues, but I am hesitant to invest until I know what I really need to do. Do you recommend training in AutoCAD at all?Any information and advice you would be willing to give would be really appreciated. Thank you for your time.

I would be interested in hearing your response to Martin as I have been a home stager for a while, but I am looking to develop my business around the virtual aspect.<br

It's not that we "lack software", in fact we have a lot of software that we use. The point is that most of our clients do not want to spend months or years learning how to use software just so they can virtually stage a few photos. We also experiment with easier solutions with less of learning curve but there are some things that a computer still can not calculate. It will be many, many years before technology advances to the point of being able to create as realistic of photos. We've been leading the virtual staging industry for over 3 years now and once we feel that we can release a single piece of software that can do this without sacrificing quality, we will. But for now, most of our clients are not very tech-savy or do not have the time do it themselves which makes our service perfect for them. Thanks for the feedback!

I’m not sure I agree with you. I am a student of scenography in Warsaw (academy of Fine Arts), and I am looking for the right kind of software to make stage sets as realistic and active as possible. And my question is the same as many others I presume, but I would like to know which programs you use in here for these fantastic looking 3D renderings! I have already purchased both the Adobe CS5, and Office but I just have 3D programs shareware (like Sketchup), but realise I have to get more advanced software to accomplish something in this direction. I was actually working a little with Maya a couple of years ago, but as I find it really complicated, I just wonder if you have a tip on easier achievement programs..?
Simple question: what do you use, and what do you recommend for staging graphics solutions? And 3D renderring with structures and lighting effects..Kind regards,
Martin :)(Btw, I have a Mac, are these programs you use for the OSX too, or just 4 Windows..?)

Hi, my name is Martin. You may have missed some things in this article, I suggest you read it again. The main point being that there is no "virtual staging" software. We use a wide variety of different software that takes years of training and a special database. None of which we are selling. Virtual staging is simply a service that we offer.
There are a lot of things that go into a good quality virtual staging and there is no single piece of software that is capable of making the complex image manipulations on it’s own. Our most valuable resource for virtual staging is our team of talented designers.
I hope that helps.Best Regards,
